I didn't expect it to go this far. All I asked for was help with my tags to wordpress and why the links from google that are showing my tags from wordpress are coming up with blank pages, when I have posts about them. Well, because it's called Search Engine spamming. Wordpress has blocked my tags and are using the links from google of my tags to bring visitors to empty meaningless, contentless pages. Not on my behalf, but on wordpress'

Here are the comments I recieve publicly in a post specifically about this very issue from the owner of wordpress itself Matt Mullenweg:

Well, here’s Matt the owner of wordpress. Because, Matt, I started using wordpress all my posts are here. You still haven’t answered my question as to why my tags are showing blank pages and still are. So you are using my search engine traffic to bring visitors to blank pages. Answer that for me please.

I don’t know about your traffic. Looking at your stats it’s pretty small, so it wouldn’t even be noticable even if we were trying to “steal” it.You can get all your posts and pages out using the export feature.You don’t show up in public listings like tag pages because you tag spam, ie use way too many tags that are only tangentially related to your post, probably for the purpose of driving more traffic to your blog, which seems to also promote third party commercial sites like the dog and liner thing.Comment by Matt | August 14, 2006 | Edit

Yes a hundred or few doesn’t matter much to the big boys but does to small timers like me. The tags I post for wordpress are the correct tags for the posts content. Which STILL doesn’t explain why they aren’t showing up on Wordpress tags. If I am tag spamming then you are SE spamming from my tags. As you are bringing in visitors from my tags to empty pages with no content.Third party sites…. Those are my sites and I can list them if I want. That is not a TOS violation.I have been called a pornography peddler and spammer by wordpress support and now by it’s owner. Second, Matt Mullenweg said I was a tag spammer and link to third party sites in the comments. Publicly he did this. Here is another hint... That is LIBEL.

Those are my sites, I can have links to them here if I want I am not breaking the TOS having them here. One is to my little pet dogs and pictures of them, if they have ads on them it is not against the TOS.

Second, the tag spamming, the wordpress tags I use to tag my posts are relevant to the blog themselves and is not spamming and STILL doesn't explain why they are showing blank empy pages in google results to Wordpress links listed in the Search Engines. Do you want to know what that is called? Search Engine Spamming. This is not done by me but by Wordpress itself by blocking my blogs and bringing in visitors to blank, content-less, pages.

Oh, but wordpress has been accused of this before if I do recall and they seem to be doing it again.

All I've asked for is a little help with my blogs and now the owner and their customer support have both committed libel and want to continue this battle.

I want a retraction from both customer support and from Matt Mullenweg the owner of wordpress himself for saying these slanderous things about me. And I want a fix to my problem in the first place. That's all I've ever asked for.

What is it about me? What is it I do? I have done nothing wrong yet I am being censored again at wordpress. This dates back to the beginning of all my posts. I know I use the F-word or FUCK. Maybe to often. I know I say things that people don't want to hear. But why does wordpress continue on trying to persecute me? This time my blog isn't being pulled. Like the first time. This isn't like the BingBoxban that happened not long ago also. Wordpress again is filtering and stealing my traffic. This time with "tags" Those precious little category defining article words.

Say a surfer is surfing in Google for the word's Seneca Kansas. Go ahead an click it and see what they see. NOTHING. No writing, No stories, nothing about what I said. Just a blank empty wordpress page.

So Podz writes me back much sooner than last time. I wrote immediately the day I noticed this around Wednesday last week. Here is my email and here is the response.

I write: "My tags aren't showing my posts. When I look through the tags my posts aren't showing up. What is wrong with this? Please fix this, I have my privacy set to show all of my posts."

Podz replies: "Hi,

Yours is one of a few posts that I have had about this and right now despite looking I can't see why this would happen. I'll keep looking into it.

Podz"

Oh, I could think of a few reasons Podz. Maybe you didn't like me giving out Matt Mullenweg's whois info to the public. Which is of course public knowledge. Or maybe it's the fact that your own wordpress tags brought back this information an shared it with the public. There are a billion blogs Podz this information is getting out.

Or maybe you didn't like it when I asked for an appology for linking to pornographic sites when I did not.

Right now, you are using my tags to steal my traffic from my blogs. It's that plain and simple when a surfer surfs for information and clicks nothing will come up for them but a blank empty wordpress page. This isn't right and this needs to be corrected quickly. I have still not heard a response back as to why this is happening PODZ. But there are several good reasons. And this information will get out.

It's official, Microsoft doesn't even own their new browser's, IE7 or Internet Explorer 7, domain name or website. It's listed as number six in Alexa.com top moving website this week and leads straight to a Mozilla Firefox download page. Overall, IE7.com has a weekly traffic ranking of 7,206. Microsoft has screwed up big time again with this one.

Most of my hosted websites all have the Microsoft IE browser at the 80% or under mark. Microsoft is losing ground and losing ground fast to Firefox, Opera, and an array of better and faster Internet Browsers. The Internet Browser War 2.0 has begun and it's not looking good for Microsoft.

Microsoft has declared that IE7 will be an automatic download. Microsoft doesn't have a choice. If Microsoft were to leave it up to the surfers that have been dealing with an over 6 year old outdated browser Microsoft is finding out that they the web surfer are moving to newer browsers, better, faster web browsers. Leaving 6.0 in the trash heap with all of it's critical design flaws and security flaws.

We are moving into a new era of Internet users. The experts are calling it Internet 2.0. Web surfers are smarter, more capable and are demanding better products and services. Internet Explorer 6 and Microsoft just doesn't cut the cheese when it comes to the Internet and website browsing.

A new breed of domaining and domainer is on the horizon also. Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, and Opera all allow a new type of web ability. The ability for native users in other countries to user their own language in the urls of their websites. These new domains are called IDN or International Domain Names. No longer to users in Japan, or anywhere in the world for that matter, have to remember English words in website ads on subways, billboards, or magazine ads they will be able to directly type in their own language and have it resolve to a website.

Let's take for example the word "Space" it means nothing to a non-English speaking person but космос.com means a lot to a Russian speaking person and Internet Explorer 7 and these new browsers will allow international web browsers the ability to use them. Let's use another example say for the word "Jobs" again means nothing to the average Japanese user but "職業.jp" means a lot to them.

All and all it's a good direction the Internet is traveling in but how much face Microsoft will lose until they deploy IE7. And how many users they can win back with it only time will tell. But the clock it ticking. Tick-Tock, another user just switched to Firefox. And on And on.

Is there really a war amongst kittens? According to Kittenwar.com there is. I say nay, nay. There is no war amongst kittens. Dogs beat cats hands down anyday of the week.

My Boston Terriers would kick the living crap out of these baby cats. This is Athena. She's my little angel, and I would challenge her to any of those kittens posted on kitten war. Are you ready to have her picture submitted? You wouldn't allow it, because you know who would win.

You see, kittenwar.com, there really isn't any "winningest kittens" or "losingest kittens" according to your categories. Athena, my little puppy, has them all beat by a long shot. My brother and I where sitting in Westport, in Kansas City, last night, Friday, and I came to realize something very important. The realization was almost an epiphany. Let's face it, we are all adults here. The reason we humans go out on a Friday night and socialize is to attract members of the opposite sex, or same sex. Hopefully, if it all goes well we get to come home or get a date with that person.

The problem is, we humans are all like radio waves with separate signals. Twisted, scrambled radio waves. We are fuzzy frequencies all floating in the air mixing together to create a jumbled mass of irritating static. It's like when you're traveling across the country and you're jamming to one station then all of a sudden it starts to fade and another station barely audible over shadows the music you were just rocking out to. This is our conundrum.

When we humans get together our frequencies are mixing with other's that are in the same area. Some people have higher watts that over shadows most others. These are the ones that have people receiving their songs and advertisements. It's all about the ads and who's buying into them. This is why some people with weaker frequencies, using less wattage, hang with other's that have a higher audience to their advertisements.

I believe the FCC allowance for wattage use on a radio station is 50,000 watts. I say fuck the FCC and fuck the other stations. Turn your wattage up to 150,000 or 200,000 and get as many listeners as you can. Get your ads out there. Believe me it's all about ad-revenue and who is buying your products.

If you can't, or won't bump up the watts and you obey by the rules. You are going home alone. Say goodnight, because your evening is over before it's even begun. This is Adam Koehler, signing off.......

It was August 2 1977. I was born into this existance; this life. I became to be known as Adam Koehler. Yes, yesterday was my birthday. Hooooray! I'm 29 now, nothing special the big one is next year at thirty. I got invited to go to a concert from a friend from myspace but didn't get a chance, sorry for missing out. Anyways, another birthday down. How many more to go? I guess we'll see.

So a friend got me hooked up at Hosting Providers. I needed another account. My other hosting accounts were getting a little full and Hosting Providers gave me a great deal. So then I had to think of a domain name to host. I thought long and hard and decided to go with: Liner. I could think of many different things to build on that domain. Bed Liners, Pool Liners, Eye Liners, Pond Liners, Ocean Liners, Cruise Liners, and much more. You can check it out I'm still in the process of building it but you can get a general idea and give me some feedback. Liner.

I did end up getting a flash drive. Found an awesome deal on Flash Drives. This is another site that my friend with the hosting pointed out to me. I needed one to back up all the webwork I've been doing lately. Don't know what I would do if my computer crashed.

So anyways I went out with my brother to my favorite coffee-shop in all of Kansas City. He got me a panni and a large iced mocha with 4 shots. MMmmmm.......

It was a good productive day today. Will have more to tell tomorrow when I get some designing done.

Tomorrow is my birthday. Which means my driver's license expires. I had to go down to the local DMV in North Kansas City to get it renewed. What is the deal with the DMV? Why is it when ever I go there are no normal people there? Everyone, and I mean everyone is White Trash. The whole room stinks of BO. The body odor alone could probably kill a small animal or bird.

So, I drive up to the DMV and get ready to park. I notice three cars with bumper stickers plastered all over them you can hardly see the license plates. You know the cars I'm talking about. They are always the shitty, rusted out Honda Civics, Toyota Pickups, and Ford Escorts. I don't get it. I really don't. Why do these people do this? And it's the same type of people, hell they are probably from the same trailer court. There's probably one hundred dollars worth of stickers on these automobiles. If the car get's stolen, highly unlikely, but if it did, the stickers would be worth more than the automobile. Okay, we know your opinionated, we know you're white trash, we get it. Stop with the fucking stickers.

Anyways, I digress. I walk into the room and calmly grab a number and a chair and wait for my turn to be called to the counter. I love the numbering system. When a number gets called out everyone looks at their ticket and then everyone else to see who has the lucky number. It's a lot like playing the lottery. So I wait maybe 45 minutes and finally my number gets called. WOOT. I go up to the counter and tell the lady, "I need to renew my license. It expires tomorrow."

Then without a smile with almost a frown she says with a baritone somber, "The line for the renewals is in the other room next door."

I'm about ready to come unglued. "GODDAMN YOU MOTHER-FUCKERS!" My mind shouts. I crumple up the useless ticket throw it on the ground and walk to the next room where luckily I get right in. So I walk up to the guy at the counter and tell him my spiel about getting my license renewed. I show him my old driver's license expecting him to just okay it, charge me, and let me on my merry way.

"We need your birth certificate or passport sir, to renew your license." He says in a nonchalant manner. As if I should've just known this.

"Do I look like a terrorist? Do I talk like I'm from out of the country? This is a state approved ID you dumb-ass. Give me my damn license." I think, almost out loud. "So, you're telling me this isn't good enough? I have to drive all the way back home (30 minutes) to get my passport?

"I'm sorry sir, those are the state rules and have been in effect for a year." He snobbishly replies.

I am so pissed I could spit venom in his face like an agitated cobra. Meanwhile, the illegalMexican immigrant is called in because his driver's license is ready. So I walk out of the room, get a whiff of the lovely stench coming from the next room, and head back to the house to get my fucking passport. It's almost ironic. I need a passport to get validation in the United States that I am a US citizen. And the fucking illegal got his at the snap of his fingers, he couldn't even answer the question to what zip code he was living in. I'm not against immigration and I'm glad they are here to do the work we American's don't want to do. But our system is pretty fucked up when shit like this happens.

I'm dying of thirst, it was hot as hell out today in Kansas City. The car a/c just isn't doing it. Driving as fast as I can back to the DMV, slowing when an on coming car is nearing, don't need a speeding ticket the day of my renewal.

So I arrive, the same people are still in line waiting, babies crying, god I'm glad I don't work there. I plop down my passport and driver's license and with a look of "fuck you, you fucking prick," in my eyes I say, "are you happy now?"

He checks out a few things and boom, I've got my new license. Thank you Missouri Department of Motor Vehicle Services, and thank you to the government for making the rules so safe for all of us god fearing folk, you arrogant, pompous assholes.

There was a time I actually used to give a shit about what people think. I don't anymore. Well that's not true I do care what my family is thinking about but most of them are crazy so it doesn't phase me to much.

Growing up and listening to that cliche that you can be anything in life. Anything you want to be; if you put your mind to it. There is a moment in life when you wake up and realize that that saying. It's bullshit. Most of us hate are jobs, are always moving, and always looking for a better Mr. or Miss someone.

I got a break up email today from my Russian (somewhat) girlfriend. Break-up email. Seems she saw my site and didn't approve. Shit, she was jealous of my Dog Training site with my bio in it. She was a little crazy to begin with but I'm attracted to chaos, so there really isn't anything I can do about that. I attract the crazies it's true. But what are you going to do.

Growing up in Seneca Kansas you had to care what people thought. Basically, because people thought exactly the same. Everyone knew everything about everyone. That town and it's Catholic ways. It's all bullshit. I grew up in a glass bubble, I never knew about Germany, or Russia, or the rest of the world. All I was taught was, "Jesus is Lord, and care for your neighbor." Hell, there are so many people there that cheat on each other and fuck other people, do drugs, and gossip about everyone else that it makes me want to vomit to think about it.

I'm glad I'm living in Kansas City. I like it here. I love being anonymous. I like the fact that people don't give a shit who you are and where you're from and don't judge you because you left your house without combing your hair.

So back to being, "anything you want." Since now we are adults and now we know it's bullshit, what do we do about it? How do we get to these places we want to go and see the things we want to see and be with the person we really want to be with. In the age of the Internet and inter-connectivity we have lost more of a personal one-on-one communication. We are losing our social togetherness that evolution made us out to be. What will become of us?

There is no Easter Bunny, there is no Santa Claus, and there is no God in the organized religious sense. There are no third world, other dimension possibilities, that we have to deal with. It's our life, we make it and we do it. God isn't going to get you out of jail or get you off drugs you are. And you will do it with the strength and will that evolution has given you.

I was a drinker. I drank heavily. I drank about a litter of vodka a day. I also downed it with a few benzodiazepines to help take the edge of the next morning. I wasn't happy in life. I realized that "cliche" that I was told was bullshit and my OCD, and anxiety was something I didn't want to deal with. So I drank, and I drank a lot to avoid have to do anything about it. That is until I couldn't do anything for myself anymore and I ran out of Klonopin to help with the hangovers. So I checked into a 12 step program and immediately that rush of OMG, WTF has happened to me overwhelmed me as I walked through the doors. I laid in bed that night shaking from withdrawals wonder how in the fuck I let it go this far.

The 12 step program is bogus anyways. There is something like a 90 percent relapse rate. It's because of this one rule. "I admit that I am powerless over alchohol." I am not powerless over alcohol. I see it in the store, I don't HAVE to buy it, I can hang out with people that are drinking, I don't HAVE to drink. So there for I am not powerless over alcohol. The other things was admitting there is a higher power, and in this place it was Christianity city. There is no higher power, I decided if I'm going to down a liter of vodka or not, not my higher power.

So, back to me and what I do. I am currently involved with domain names, developing websites and trying rake in the big money when Internet Explorer 7 comes out and IDN take over the rest of the world. And that should happen anytime now.

So, I signed up for the domain mapping testers. I wonder how that works? How do we get notified and when do we get access to them? I've decided to use Men Trends. I this domain a better choice than my Dog Training domain which I am using for my boston terrier puppy at the moment.

I will be back with more news when I find out more on the subject. All the comment's at the time were delayed so I couldn't tell what order I got in line. Domain Mapping Testers.

Anyways Men Trends could be used as a blog for the latest gadgets and electronic toys that are out on the market. Product reviews things like that. I have a million more domains to chose from but thought it applicable for a blog site.

I still have not received an apology for banning me and then after my fourth attempt to contact customer service at Wordpress them accusing me of linking to porn sites. I did not and have not ever linked to porn sites on wordpress.com, and would like to get an apology for that accusation.

I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what made them think, then actually accuse me of linking to porn sites. Not just one, their quote was to numerous porn sites. I think it was my "Disciplining your Bitches" thread "Hot girl on girl action" which is now gone for good because they took it down but here's what it linked to:

Yes indeed, real pornographic. The Bingbox thread was to obvious that is a picture of me and that was my own personal website that didn't sell any pornographic material of any kind.

So what was it that was so pornographic that Podzwas talking about? Well, I'm still waiting. And wordpress is still taking my traffic.

So Podz, or wordpress customer service, where is the porn?

Well the Wordpress ban is over, I guess. Finally after the fourth email to Wordpress Customer support they contacted me, or I guess they didn't a guy named Podz did. He's from the UK with his own personal site. www.tamba2.org.uk. His blog is updated regularly. I guess after Matt Mullenweg's information, owner of wordpress, was splashed all over the internet they thought it important to get in touch with me. Here it is again for old time's sake.

So anyways back to myself. I'm wondering what I did right? What could be so horrible. That they suspend my Wordpress Blog. So Podz writes me back with as little help as possible the first time. And he states:

The TOS and the FAQ both contain information which would have made this

Well, now this is a shocker to me. Porn links? What the fuck could Podz be talking about? I had never linked to a porn site from Wordpress before. Then it dawned on me. I've talked about porn and put a picture of myself to my website that got banned on BingBox. Here is the picture again since it's seems so controversial.

But do you know what? That blog post alone was getting me 300 visitors a day. So now that my blog is suspended. I was on Wordpress fastest growing blogs for a few days because of that very article. IT's ranked third in a google search for BingBox. Wordpress gets that web traffic funneled straight to their homepage. So they are picking up people left and right for their website and what do I get? I get accussed of peddling porn without and apology I might add. I did do the affiliates, but I didn't know that that was against the rules they could have at least sent an email or something to let me know. But no they just want the traffic to their site.

So I write back to Podz.

I did not link to porn sites. I can remove the affiliate links, please

give me access back to my account.

So I sit on my ass. My traffic to my blog is still being siphoned straight to a sign-up page at Wordpress. And I still didn't link to any GODDAMN PORN SITE. I finally get a reply back from Podz and this is what is says:

Hi,

When an account is removed from the domain, be that by it's owner or by

us, 3 things happen: the username, the blog name and the email address

are rendered unusable again. This is not particular to yourself, it's

across the whole domain.

So what that means is you are free to get another blog here but you

can't have the names or use the email address you had before.

And apart from the ads your previous content can be used.

Is this of any help? No it's not of any fucking help Podz. Wordpress is stealing my fucking traffic. Plus the blog is my name. So now I've lost my fucking name, blog, and wordpress is taking my fucking traffic. That's just great. So of course I write him back explaining the situation, and here's what I say:

I woke up three days ago and tried to access my blog adamkoehler.wordpress.com. What does it show me? Not my blog or my administration controls but a big huge sign that says:

This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.

You can create your own free blog on WordPress.com.

So, to my surprise I find out through trying to log into wordpress that my own blog has been suspended and there was never an email written to me as to why.

I've tried to contact customer support through their online service. Not once but I've wrote them three times and still not a response back as to why my adamkoehler.wordpress.com is suspended. So I find out that wordpress is run through a company called automattic.com. I try their online support form. I still haven't heard anything back.

I check the whois for wordpress.com and automattic.com and they come back to the same person.

So I check out mullenweg.com and I find out it's his own personal blog. It's not very updated. Not much of a blogger for owning and running one of the biggest blogsite's called Wordpress.com. I also found out through mullenweg.com that Matt runs a blog hosted on wordpress.com, matt.wordpress.com; not much of a blog either. So Matt Mullenweg runs both automattic and wordpress. Automatic, by the way, is a company that gives a plug-in to throw your blogs all through cyberspace and to all the rss readers from what I understand.

So, my question is since customer support doesn't answer the forms people fill out, nor do they send out an email to a blogger that they have taken their blog down from the internet; just what is their customer service situation like over there at wordpress?

My other question is what led to my suspension since no one has commented on that yet. Am I that controversial. Did I step on someone's toes with one of my previous blogs? I jokingly made fun of wordpress' spellchecker but that wouldn't do it would it? Sure I say the F-word. But then they don't ban people for that do they? It's not like I've put a porno video on their website nor even liked to a porn site. I've talked about sex. Can we not talk about sex? I've talked and joked about religion, my Catholic roots. I've talked about my home town Seneca Kansas and the people there. I've talked about my love for coffee and me living in Kansas City. Just what did it?

My last and final word of the day. Be carefull what you blog about over at wordpress. If you say the wrong thing. You might just get suspended and never recieve an answer as to why, or how you can fix it.

I can identify with the religous sexually repressed. I was raised Catholic in a small town called Seneca Kansas and taught that sexual thoughts, sexual touching, masturbation, sex before marriage was evil and wrong. My family, whom I love dearly, and would do anything for helped teach these beliefs with the church. I don't blame them thought. I dealt with that for a long time before I realized that all religion is; is a tool for social control. Religion likes to stick it's ugly fangs of guilt into your mind and keep a hold of your free will.

Anyways, I meet this Muslim girl at this coffee shop. It was a good time. Let me tell you, but she was to stuck on herself, and to into hating ethnic groups, to get any sort of repeat good times.

I masturbate to porno. I watch pornographic videos and films. Read Hustler and Playboy. But that's getting old and even a chore to do anymore. I can't even type in the words into the url to go to the sites; it's that tiring. I need actual, physical touching and fucking and sucking.

I need to go, I can't even bare to think about my lack of sex life right now being a 28 year old KC single with no options at the moment. I was sitting at my local Kansas City coffeeshop, Westport Coffeehouse, and I opened up the new edition of the local independent newspaper called "The Pitch." I noticed one of two things. My iced mocha was perfectly made;and the first two pages of the newspaper were nothing but ads. This week it was a one full page ad for Harrah's casino and a few other local shops in the Kansas City area.

Everyone knows that the media sells fear. Hell, Bill O'Rilley sells nothing but fear. The other thing people don't know is that they are there to only push the products whose advertising dollars pay for their airtime. They, the news media, wouldn't be there if they didn't have those advertising dollars to sell those batteries for the flashlights just in case the power goes out. Fear makes us buy things. Fear motivates us. Fear drives us to spend to protect ourselves.

I was watching the television the other day. A rare thing in my case. Since when did the news anchors stop delivering news and start delivering their own personal opinions and commentary along with the news topics of the day? An anchorman, or anchorperson, to be politically correct, is there to deliver the news. That's it. Nothing more, no enlightening conversations of how the story relates to them and their pathetic lives. Don't give me my opinions, just raw facts. They are giving nothing but opinions now.

Our President is blowing up nations of little brown people to push Pampers on Fox Television. Our President Bush is breaking constitutional laws, sexually harassing heads of states, all in the name of the war on terror.

It's not a mystery why Rupert Murdoch purchased Myspace.com. Millions subscribe and view that website everyday. Go to the front page of myspace.com and what do you see? Ads plastered everywhere. When you open an account, ads plastered everywhere. We are consuming monkey's that aren't even aware of what's happening to us. Do yourselves a favor and learn how to start your own website and don't give these advertising whore's of websites like myspace, bingbox, and other social networking sites the time of day.

Get a host and learn it. Learn it now it's vital for the future of the web.

It's no secret Google makes billions off of the ad revenue of the searches made by all of their surfers. How much to you think Mr. Murdoch will make on Myspace? Billions more.

But we can't help it can we? We are a race that defines ourselves through pain and misery. We need to know that there is worse out there in life than our average, miserable, existences.

So go out and by then new Ipod you've been wanting because your friend has one. Catch the latest movie that has no plot; just a bunch of action scenes to keep the producers from having to develop real stories lines. They will still rake in millions not just from ticket sales but from the advertising alone. The advertising that you the consuming monkey bought into.

Now, back to the Pitch. I'm sorry, but your latest formats and editions have been lame as a piece of dogshit dried on a concrete sidewalk after it's been stepped in a few times. Get some better writers, and I know you need the advertising dollars, but at least give us some information in the first two pages of the newspaper. Oh, and those cartoons. They suck ass too. Fire the cartoonists.

Now, back to my iced mocha and Palm Treo 700w, chatting across Skype and my favorite coffeeshop in all of Kansas City. Westport Coffeehouse. Oh, I almost forgot. I guess I'm a consuming monkey too.

Hi, my name is Adam. Hi, my name is Adam. I know, I know, that joke is old but it's so gosh-damn funny. I have OCD, or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, to the common folk. My OCD is mixed in with a little depression and anxiety too. They call OCD, "The sane man's mental illness."

It's weird really, I know what I do and think isn't normal but I just can't help doing it. It's like I have to halves of my mind. The sane side, which tells me what "normal" society thinks and how a person acts in this "normal" society. Then there is the crazy side where my thoughts and actions get so overwhelmed with anxiety that I get pushed to the limits of trying to control them. Then *BAM* I'm forced to do something about it.

I'm not as bad off as many people with this horrible disease. Many can't even leave their homes. OCD get's that bad for them, or they can't control their impulses for more than a few seconds to even go to the store. I feel for them, I really, really feel for them.

OCD comes in several shapes and forms and in sizes of severity also. You have the "obsessive" where your mind gets fixated around one thing and just keeps repeating it and repeating it over and over like a broken record in your head. You know when a song get's stuck in your head? Well imagine it with the volume up to the max and repeats 10 faster. That's OCD. Then there's the "compulsive" where you can't stop doing actions over and over again. Washing hands over and over; Locking the Door again again; Checking to see if the stove is off all the time. That's OCD also.

According to most reports including Wikipedia, OCD afflicts 1 in every 50 people. Roughly, 3.3 million peoplein America alone suffer from this disease. OCD is in the top ten of the most disabilitating diseases according to (NIMH). Which means there are millions of people that are on disability or can't work or hold a job because of this disease. In 1990, $8.4 billion was lost in social and economic revenue alone because of this disease.

Okay back to me. I suffer from OCD. Did I mention that yet? Anyways, I do, I suffer from it. I have my "obsessions" were I think I'm going crazy, I'm losing my mind. Or I fear that I won't be able to control my actions so I avoid public places which makes me lose out on a lot of friends and social and family gatherings. At first my family didn't understand what was happening to me. Hell, I didn't understand what was happening to me. Christ, I was 18 in high-school (NVHS, Seneca Kansas) and dating the Prom Queen, running Cross Country and doing Track. Then all of a sudden, I didn't want to do those things any more, I wanted to avoid people. I couldn't stop thinking I was going crazy.

I remember the night it all happened too. It was prom-night my senior year, 1996. I had just dropped my date off, the prom queen, because I wanted to go get high. I skipped out on sex, for drugs. I mean here is the most beautiful girl in I have ever met in my entire life, and still is, that was going to have sex with me and I chose drugs. I went to this house where one of the after-parties were. Most of the seniors from my high-school where there. We were ready to get high. We all lit up in some dingy, cobweb filled basement and away we puffed. Only this time it didn't feel like a normal pot high, oh no, something was in this marijuana, and I was OFF! My heart started pounding through my chest. I was sweating so bad, my clothes were soaked. I was hallucinating. Something felt like it was crawling all over me. I couldn't take it it.

I got in my car to drive home, not a good idea, but didn't have any other options, I just knew in my mind that I was going to die. While driving home at a speed of 15 miles an hour the road signs were bending back and forth all the way touching the ground and back up again. I was freaked. When I arrived home I stood in the hallway for about and hour wondering if I should tell my parents to take me to the hospital or not. There was this loud hissing, like radio static, sound in my ears. It was deafening. I was scared shitless. So I got a glass of water and watched as my three left hands went through the glass of water I was trying to pick up. Which is why I wrote my purgatory blog, but that's another matter. So I laid down in bed as my room turned into total darkness and stretched out into infinity with the hissing in my ears I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up and everything was different. I didn't feel like me anymore I was a different person, my thoughts were muddy and would get stuck, I didn't want to be around anyone, including my family and girlfriend. I became less involved with things. I dropped many people in my life, my family, my girlfriend. I couldn't take it. I wanted to die.

To this day I still have my breakdowns. I still need therapy and medication to control the thoughts and actions. I can live and work in normal society and not one person, besides my family and friends, can tell that I have OCD. They know I'm different, but not mentally ill.

I've had OCD symptoms since I was a child living in Seneca Kansas. I look back at the times in my childhood and I was developing it then. I would play with my ears. Most babies suck their thumbs, mine was my ears, and I still do to this day play with my ears in times of stress. I've also had episodes were I can't leave my own room for fear of something happening to me. And the whole time I know nothing is going to. But at the same time I can't help not doing it.

The sane-man's mental illness. Ha. It's fucking hell on earth is what it is.
